Gravitas Ventures
One of the most prominent indie digital distributors in the U.S. Gravitas handles encoding, QC, metadata, and delivery to 150+ platforms including Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, Tubi, iTunes, and cable VOD. They accept dramatic films, documentaries, and genre content. Filmmakers give up North American digital rights for the term; limited marketing provided — filmmakers drive the audience push.
Cineverse
Formerly Cinedigm, Cineverse is both a digital distributor and a FAST channel operator — they operate their own genre channels including Screambox, CONtv, and Dove Channel. This gives them unusual leverage: they can place your film on major platforms and on their own owned-and-operated FAST channels. Strong in horror, faith, anime, and family content.
FilmRise
FilmRise is a distributor that operates as its own AVOD network, distributing content primarily through ad-supported streaming. They acquire non-exclusive digital rights, focusing on catalog depth. Unlike most major SVOD and AVOD platforms, FilmRise does NOT work with aggregators — films come through direct acquisition deals only. Strong Tubi and free streaming partner.
Level 33 Entertainment
Level 33 is a boutique full-service distributor handling digital and limited theatrical releases. They focus on dramas, thrillers, action, and documentary content, with solid relationships across major VOD platforms. They offer more hands-on support than a pure aggregator, with some marketing assistance and more personalized attention than the high-volume distributors.
TriCoast Entertainment
TriCoast offers both domestic digital distribution and international sales representation. They can handle U.S. VOD, international rights, TV licensing, and airline distribution under one roof — useful for filmmakers who want a single company managing multiple windows. Accepts drama, documentary, action, thriller, horror, and faith-based content.
